My Approach

I am a qualified counsellor with 4 years experience working with young people, adults and families.  I gained a broad range of experience working with both male and female counselling settings.  I offer a confidential non-judgemental space and time for you to explore any life issues/problems which you may have and help you find new ways to achieve positive life changes.  My counselling experiences include depression, anxiety/stress, addiction, domestic violence and abuse and many other issues which can have a significant impact on our lives.

I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling (BACP) and the National Counselling Society (NCS) and I’m required to adhere to their guidelines.  I have full insurance for my practice ensuring a high standard of professional care.

Within my nursing career as a dual qualified nurse (16years experience), I gained extensive knowledge and skill in training facilitation.  I can also relate to how the body and mind are inextricably connected.  I therefore have an interest in both the  physical and emotional/mental well-being of my clients.  I am passionate about counselling and regularly partake in various training topics/programmes.
